Sleep medicine exposes you to a variety of medical disciplines and helps to develop a multidisciplinary skillset through working with a diverse group of colleagues unparalleled by other areas of medicine. Sleep difficulties impact nearly all individuals at some point in their lives. The ability to address sleep and improve patients' quality of life while developing longitudinal relationships allows for a rewarding career unique to sleep medicine that drew me to the field.
