Vascular surgery trainees and faculty at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN

Positions

One position is offered on a competitive basis each year in the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must be eligible to graduate from medical school and pass Step 1 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) board exams prior to enrolling in the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program at Mayo Clinic. Medical students in their fourth year of school may select this residency through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

How to apply

Appointments for Mayo Clinic's Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program are made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

To use this application process, you need the following information:

  • Official medical school transcript(s)
  • Official test transcripts for all applicable examinations (USMLE, LMCC, COMLEX, NBOME, FMGEMS, FLEX or NBME)
  • A dean's letter and three letters of recommendation
  • A curriculum vitae
  • A personal statement
  • A valid ECFMG certificate (if you graduated from medical school outside of the United States or Canada)
  • A photo

Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to visit Mayo Clinic for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted during December and January each year.
