You have ample opportunities to teach medical students and non-neurology residents in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
These include formal lumbar puncture training, neurological emergency simulations at the Simulation Center, presenting lectures at Academic Half Day, and conducting morning report.
In addition to this, PGY-4 residents can choose to help teach the Neuroscience course along with neurology faculty to the first-year medical students at Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education.
