Why did you choose to specialize in Adult Reconstructive Surgery? I chose adult reconstruction for the variety in cases complexity and challenges posed by difficult revisions. Additionally, seeing the significant improvement in the mobility and quality of life of patients is very rewarding.

What attracted you to Mayo Clinic for fellowship training? Mayo provides a unique training opportunity with volume, complexity and the flexibility to participate in cases that are occurring across the division.

What makes the Adult Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic unique? The faculty are committed to providing not only an exceptional training experience but are also determined to help me build the foundation for a successful career.

What is living in Jacksonville like for you? Jacksonville is very affordable and easy to navigate. For a family with three children, it has unlimited opportunities and activities to keep everyone busy and entertained.

What does your future look like right now? I am currently looking at jobs through the mountain west and Southeast. I hope to join a practice that will allow me to continue to perform research, teach and grow clinically in adult reconstruction.
