KP Vantanasiri, M.D.

2024-2025 Fellow

My year in the advanced endoscopy fellowship at Mayo Clinic Arizona has easily been the most memorable and fulfilling part of my training. The program offered excellent hands-on experience in both ERCP and EUS, with a wide range of complex cases that helped me grow technically and clinically. The mentorship was outstanding. Each faculty member brought deep expertise, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching that made even the most challenging days rewarding.

What truly made this year special was the culture of support across the entire endoscopy unit. From the nurses to the endoscopy technicians, everyone was kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly team-oriented. Their dedication and positive energy made the learning environment both productive and enjoyable. I always felt like I was surrounded by people who wanted me to succeed and who cared deeply about the work we were doing together.

I leave this program with stronger skills, deeper knowledge, and a renewed sense of purpose. Most of all, I leave with gratitude for the people and experiences that shaped me this year. I am truly thankful that I will continue to be part of the Mayo Clinic family, and I look forward to carrying everything I have learned into the next chapter.
