You will gain extensive experience in all aspects of heart and lung transplantation, ventricular assist device, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. Additionally, you will participate in patient candidate selection, multi-organ donor procurement, surgery, postoperative care and post-transplant care, and adult cardiac surgery. You are expected to actively participate in all areas and are given supervised autonomy as your knowledge and experience grow.
