Our fellows and faculty foster a collegial environment and education-focused culture that provides an inclusive learning experience. Training can be challenging, but our program is close-knit and each fellow brings a dedication to providing stellar patient care as well as a collaborative learning experience.

Samantha Espinosa, M.D.

Samantha Espinosa, M.D.

Medical school: University of Chicago, Chicago, IL

Residency: Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL

Interests: Complex coronary artery disease and health disparities

Plans after graduation: I'm completing an M.P.H. and I hope to utilize my skills to look at ischemic heart disease and its impact on diverse patient populations. I'll be starting my Interventional Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2024.

Residency: Jacobi Medical Center, Bronx, NY (Chief Resident)

Interests: General and preventative cardiology as well as advanced cardiovascular imaging

Plans after graduation: I plan to work as a non-invasive cardiologist.

Plans after graduation: Return back home and work as a non-invasive cardiologist

Plans after graduation: I'll be applying for a fellowship in advanced heart failure.

Interests: Interventional cardiology and critical care

Plans after graduation: I hope to apply for advanced fellowships in critical care and subsequently interventional cardiology with the goal of working in a cardiac ICU setting.

Plans after graduation: I hope to become an academic cardiologist and a great clinician to teach others and help my patients.
