Alumni

The most important indicator of a training program’s success is reflected in the achievements of its graduates. At Mayo Clinic, fellows in critical care medicine consistently secure the positions or advanced opportunities of their choice.

Upon completion of the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, physicians are fully prepared to meet the demands of academic medicine, private practice, or subspecialty training.

Fellowship years: 2023-2025

Mayo Clinic Critical Care Fellowship shaped me into a confident, self-reliant leader and clinician. It gave me the tools to thrive in high-stakes situations — from leading teams and performing procedures to managing ECMO and mastering critical care ultrasonography. I’m forever grateful for the exposure to diverse pathologies, complex patients, and creative approaches I hadn’t encountered anywhere else.

What sets Mayo apart is that it doesn’t just grow you as a clinician — it cultivates your individuality and strengths. I’m deeply thankful for the extraordinary mentors and world-class educators who helped me evolve at every level.

Fellowship years: 2023-2025

During my training at Mayo Clinic, I had the privilege of learning from world-renowned intensivists with diverse academic backgrounds. They embodied the spirit of holistic, patient-centered care, high-impact research, and outstanding mentorship. I was continually inspired by the state-of-the-art facilities, which allowed me to develop my professional skills, nurture curiosity, and foster career growth.

What surprised me most was that, despite Mayo Clinic’s stellar reputation for excellence, the faculty and fellows were remarkably supportive, approachable, and humble. The program director and coordinator were exceptionally attentive and receptive to fellows’ needs, making my transition into fellowship seamless and welcoming.
