The Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship draws trainees from across the U.S. and around the world. While all our trainees have a love of learning and a compassionate approach to patient care, they come from diverse backgrounds, family statuses, and professional and personal interests. Meet our current fellow and learn about their experience in the program.

Current Fellow

Sidhartha Chaudhry, M.D.

Medical school: Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, FL
Residency: SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY

Background: Dr. Sidhartha Chaudhry is originally from Delhi, India and is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University. He obtained his doctorate in medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in Miramar, Florida and completed an Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his pets, going for long walks, running, playing piano, and searching for something new to read.

Why did you choose Mayo Clinic for your fellowship? I had worked as a summer intern back in college at Mayo and it instantly felt like home. The culture here is one that perfectly balances effective medical care with compassion and friendliness. Mayo Clinic remains one of the few places that has the case load and complexity of a large institution in a large city and is in a small town in a beautiful state. My partner is a veterinary pathologist at University of Minnesota, and we both are ready to make Minnesota our home. 

Mayo Fellows Association (MFA)

The Mayo Fellows Association (MFA) offers a peer and social support network for residents and fellows and their families with social events, athletics, and advocacy. The MFA also holds an annual resident and fellow appreciation event open to all trainees with complimentary massages, stress-reducing activities, and social support.
