Why Mayo: I think that Mayo is the best hand fellowship in the country. No other place has this depth of incredible faculty, seemingly unlimited resources, and an unwavering dedication to teaching. Every day I feel supported with every effort being made to not only make me the best hand surgeon that I can be, but also a representative of this amazing fellowship as I move forward in my career.

Family: My partner Pranav and little dog Laddu! I also have two sisters and a brother, as well as parents, nieces, nephews, and dogs back home in LA. 

Hobbies/Fun Fact: yoga, reading, poetry, and dogs!

Clinical Interest: Still exploring but tentatively peripheral nerve and trauma reconstruction

Why Mayo: My mentor Dr. Hinchcliff trained as a hand fellow at Mayo Clinic several years ago and since then has said it was the best year of her life. She is constantly referencing the mentorship and skill she gained, and as I met the faculty here on my interview, I was inspired by their talent, innovation, and dedication to teaching. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to develop as a person and as a surgeon here!

Why Mayo: Mayo has numerous talented faculty who are leaders and innovators in all the major subfields within hand surgery, managing a wide variety of complex pathology. They are also very dedicated to educating us and are role models in the way they treat their patients. I feel incredibly lucky to get to learn from them, and I am looking forward to soaking it all in!
