How to apply
The academic year begins in July.
All applications must go through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), with all supporting documentation being submitted by Jan. 15 of the year preceding the program start date
- Visit the ERAS website. All applications to Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials. This program also requires three original letters of recommendation.
- Appointments are made through the Radiology Match, which is sponsored by the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). You must register for the match in addition to applying through ERAS.
- Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted between January and March.
In addition to the standard application materials required by Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education, this program requires:
- Three original letters of recommendation. These must be completed in the Recommendation Request section. Each person furnishing a recommendation will receive an email with a link to upload the letter.
Our program abides by all rules and regulations as specified and required by the National Residency Match Program (NRMP). For all non-matched fellowships, our program abides by the rules and timelines established by the Society of Chairs of Academic Radiology Departments (SCARD).
We will do our best to accommodate any exceptions to the standard interviewing process as a function of situational constraints for an applicant.
Interview Day
Interviews will be held virtually to respect the time of the senor level residents applying to the positions. Online interview occurs for 2-3 hours, one afternoon in February. During the interview day, the Program Director will provide an overview of department as well as the Jacksonville area. Candidates will then have a total of four interviews at 15 minutes each. A first look visit is available to residents after rank list is finalized.
