Overview
The one-year Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida offers exceptional training for physicians seeking expertise in the care of athletes and physically active individuals. Fellows gain comprehensive experience managing injuries related to sports, fitness and recreation across a broad patient population, with a focus on restoring function and optimizing performance and utilizing advanced procedural skills when needed. Based within the Department of Family Medicine, the program will accept two fellows annually beginning in 2027: one Family Medicine–trained physician and one Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation–trained physician.
