What attracted you to Mayo Clinic?

"Mayo Clinic has always been a dream – a place where a lot of miracles happen. Ever since I was in medical school back in Sudan, whenever I heard the name Mayo Clinic it was always associated with the epitome of medicine. So, naturally, Mayo Clinic was the place to further my education. As a research fellow at Mayo Clinic, I was further impressed by the care the hospital provides, the research that pushes boundaries and the love of staff for education. It was the easiest decision to apply and rank Mayo Clinic in Florida first."

"I have been impressed at the approachability of everyone here at Mayo Clinic. It’s astonishingly easy for me to reach out to colleagues, whether in neurology or across other specialties to discuss a patient case, ask questions, or develop an interdisciplinary management plan. It’s clear that the needs of the patient truly do come first."
