What attracted you to gastroenterology?

Its dynamic complexity. Gastroenterology is a challenging, fast-paced specialty that involves intrinsic real-time application of critical thinking, expansive medical knowledge, manual dexterity, and ever-evolving technology.

What attracted you to Mayo Clinic for fellowship training?

The world-class mentors and the exceptional training environment with astounding clinical exposure to a wide breadth of complex cases. The camaraderie of the teams at Mayo Clinic is unparalleled.

What makes the Mayo Clinic Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship unique?

The Mayo Clinic Arizona is a renowned referral center and the highest volume liver transplant center in the country, there is no shortage of complex pancreaticobiliary cases from which to learn. Mayo Clinic is a state-of-the-art facility and strives to push the boundaries of the field of advanced endoscopy. I am fortunate to be training one-on-one with exceptionally dedicated mentors who are experts in EUS, ERCP, and advanced luminal procedures.

What does your future look like right now?

I intend to continue to serve as a pillar and expand access to ERCP and EUS guided procedures especially for the underserved with limited access to specialized care.
