Meet Our Fellows
Our fellows come from a variety of backgrounds. Meet one of our fellows and learn about their experience with our program.

What attracted you to gastroenterology? I was drawn to gastroenterology for its unique blend of procedural work, cognitive problem-solving, and long-term patient care. It’s a field that constantly evolves with new technologies and therapies.
What attracted you to Mayo Clinic for fellowship training? The Mayo Clinic Phoenix program stood out to me for two main reasons: the excellent exposure to complex interventional endoscopy cases and, more importantly, the opportunity to train under world-class mentors who are not only leaders in the field but also deeply invested in teaching and supporting fellows.
What makes the Mayo Clinic Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship unique? I believe Mayo Clinic Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship offers an unparalleled volume and variety of advanced endoscopic procedures in a highly collaborative and supportive environment. There is a strong emphasis on both technical excellence and clinical judgment, and the faculty are truly committed to mentoring fellows in every aspect of their professional development—from procedural skills to academic growth to career planning.
What does your future look like? I plan to return to Vancouver after finishing the fellowship to join my home institution as a therapeutic endoscopist. My goal is to focus on complex ERCP and EUS and to help grow our local advanced endoscopy program.
