Hometown: Dubuque, Iowa
Medical school: Des Moines University
About me: Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse was at the top of my list because it was a small, close-knit community program in a world-renowned health system. I felt like every faculty physician and resident was approachable and genuinely interested in getting to know me better. It felt like a community I needed to belong to. I enjoy spending time with my husband, Colton, and our two dachshunds, Maverick and Charlie, anything outdoors (hiking, bicycling, camping, running, kayaking), cooking or baking new recipes, and trying out local restaurants/breweries. I hope to practice full-scope family medicine with a focus in preventative medicine and nutrition.
