Elizabeth Husted, M.D. Hometown: Pelican Rapids, Minnesota Medical school: University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences About me: I chose to do my residency training here because the program really values the role and importance of primary care. This program empowers residents to practice to the full spectrum family medicine including inpatient medicine, obstetrics, pediatrics, clinic medicine, and numerous procedures, which was important to me as I prepare for a future rural practice. As hobbies, I enjoy reading, biking, paddle boarding, knitting, spending time with family and friends, and trying new foods.

Dillon Lundstrom, M.D. Hometown: Embarrass, MN Medical school: School of Medicine, University of Minnesota - Duluth About me: I grew up in a small town in northern Minnesota with four brothers. Growing up, we learned to appreciate and enjoy the outdoors. I decided to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth Medical School as they specialize in training rural family medicine physicians and made the seamless transition to Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse’s Family Medicine Residency program that excels in training full-scope family physicians — perfect for the rural setting. My dream future practice would involve outpatient medicine with plenty of obstetrics, located of course in a rural setting. In my free time, I continue to enjoy the outdoors and staying active.
