We offer medical students two or four-week elective rotations. Fourth-year medical student audition rotations are offered July-January for students interested in applying to the Family Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Mankato, Minnesota. Other types of rotation requests will be considered during February-June based on availability.

The four-week family medicine rotation experience includes:

• Three weeks in our outpatient continuity clinic at Mayo Clinic Health System - Eastridge Clinic, working with family medicine residents or faculty
• One week on the inpatient service care team, serving with a family medicine resident and faculty

Medical students rotating with our program are invited to join us for our daily noon lectures. Lunch is provided.

Rotation housing and parking

Short-term housing is available for medical students rotating with our program. To make arrangements, contact our residency program administrator, Stacy Tomhave (tomhave.stacy@mayo.edu).

Free parking at the clinic and hospital is available on-site; however, there are reserved areas for patients and guests.

• Your CV
• A copy of your current unofficial medical school transcript
• Documentation of professional liability insurance provided by medical school covering this educational experience (required upon rotation acceptance)
