Department and Faculty
The Division of Orthopedic Oncology at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota, sees a large number of patients each year with diverse surgical needs. Orthopedic oncologists have extensive experience treating tumors such as Ewing's sarcoma, osteosarcoma, and other malignancies that involve the musculoskeletal system.
From the program director
My goal is to help you use the vast resources of Mayo Clinic to tailor your training and to access the wide network of previous fellows through the Ivins Tumor Society to advance your career goals.
With outstanding faculty and a mentorship model, you will be exposed to all aspects of orthopedic oncology. In addition to the clinical responsibilities of the fellowship, you will also have the opportunity to be engaged in multiple ongoing clinical research projects.
Our program provides unique opportunities that include a robust educational curriculum with many extra-curricular opportunities for learning; diverse, world-renowned faculty who are leaders in various areas of musculoskeletal oncology surgery; unparalleled resources for clinical and basic science research; high volume of outpatient and surgical experiences; and the opportunity for international rotation.
