Tuition and Financial Aid

Tuition and fees

For 2020-2021, program tuition is $721 per credit. There are 86 billable credits in the program. The estimated tuition for this full program is $62,006. The estimated cost of attendance is $63,556*.

Tuition is billed on a semester-block basis and paid to Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences.

Living expenses

You are responsible for your living accommodations and transportation.

Housing is provided during the eight-week senior off-campus rotation.

Health insurance

Students are offered low-cost comprehensive medical insurance, including a prescription drug plan, as well as dental and vision insurance.

Program stipend

During the last 24 months of this program, a stipend is paid to student anesthetists. You will receive approximately $5,600 per year for two years, for a total stipend of $11,200.

Time payback is not associated with the program stipend.

Outside work

Outside employment during years two to four of the program is strongly discouraged. Employment as a nurse anesthetist while a student in our program is forbidden.

Financial aid

Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences offers financial incentives for students to participate in some of its health sciences education programs. Scholarships, grants, and low-interest loans may be available for those who demonstrate financial need.
