Mayo Clinic's faculty members are committed to teaching and facilitating the growth of medical knowledge. All faculty members have academic appointments in Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Most faculty have published and lectured extensively and are nationally renowned in their fields. You have direct access to the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine faculty members throughout your training.
All pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties are well-represented. A core group of academic pediatricians staff the general inpatient hospital service. Primary care pediatricians represent the largest portion of the department.
You also work with trainees from the departments of Family Medicine, Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, and Emergency Medicine, as well as Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine students.
