Paige Partain, M.D.
As someone who grew up in the south, I was hesitant about committing to three years in what I now affectionately call ‘MinneSnowta.’ But after completing my interviews, I ranked Mayo first for a number of reasons: a clear focus on education (favoring education over service with very enthusiastic faculty), a medium size (so I could really know all my co-residents), and the opportunity to see both routine pediatric care for the surrounding region and some cool ‘zebras’ referred from other centers.
2017 program graduate, now on staff in primary care pediatrics at Mayo Clinic
