Application Process

Positions

One position is available on a competitive basis each year in the Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency at Mayo Clinic's campus in Jacksonville.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants must be eligible to graduate from medical school and pass Step 1 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) board exams before enrolling in the Plastic Surgery Integrated Residency at Mayo Clinic.

How to apply

The academic year begins in July.

The application and all supporting documentation must be submitted by Oct. 1 of the year preceding the program start date.

You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) or through the Plastic Surgery Common Application (PSCA).

  1. Visit the ERAS website or the PSCA website. All applications to Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these application materials.
  2. Appointments are made through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). You must register through the NRMP website in addition to applying through ERAS.
  3. Applicants considered for an appointment will be invited to an in-person interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted between November and January each year.
