Three applicants are selected on a competitive basis each year for the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic's campus in Rochester, Minnesota.


To be eligible for the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, you must have successfully completed three years of cardiovascular training.

How to apply

The academic year begins in July.

The application and all supporting documentation must be submitted by Dec. 1, approximately 18 months preceding the program start date.

You must apply through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) for fellowship applicants. No matching services are used.

  1. Visit the ERAS for fellowship applicants website. All applications to Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education programs must include these .
  2. If you are considered for an appointment, you will be asked to visit Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for an interview with the program director and selected faculty. Interviews are conducted in January each year.
