Alumni

The most important indicator of the success of a training program is found in the outcomes of the graduates upon completion of their training.

Mayo Clinic residents are highly successful in obtaining the fellowships and jobs of their choice after graduation. Historically, two-thirds of the graduates from Mayo Clinic's campus in Florida have entered subspecialty training, and 100% have matched to fellowships of their choice over the last seven years.

During my internal medicine residency, I gained expertise in diverse medical cases including rare ones, and allowed me to have strong foundation for my current career of endocrinology.

In addition to an excellent education, clinical training and research opportunities, I was able to work with brilliant mentors who illuminated my path, as I thrived in an environment that blended cutting-edge education and clinical practice.

I cultivated my skills in patient-centered care for best patent outcome while also prioritizing self-care.

My experience at Mayo Clinic Florida was phenomenal as I was able to learn new research techniques by designing and participating in numerous research projects with world-renowned mentors in gastroenterology.  By exposing me to patients with complex medical conditions, the program also prepared me to become an efficient, well-rounded, and knowledgeable clinician. As such, the program at Mayo Clinic Florida has set the foundation for me to become a successful gastroenterology fellow and investigator.
