About me: I chose Mayo Clinic because of its opportunities. Between the complex patient population, the expert faculty, and the vast institutional resources, there are endless opportunities for learning, research, and growth no matter where your interests or ambitions may lie. Coming in as an undecided intern, I was exposed to a wide array of medicine which enabled me to identify my own academic interests in gastroenterology, artificial intelligence, and the gut microbiome, all areas in which I was able to get involved with research and find mentorship. Outside of medicine, I'm an avid basketball fan and enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, watching movies, and playing with my new puppy.
