About the department

The Department of Dental Specialties sees adults and children who require specialized dental care. As a resident or fellow in one of our programs, you’ll train alongside faculty members with expertise in dental hygiene, dental sleep medicine, maxillofacial prosthetics, dental oncology, orofacial pain treatment, care of temporomandibular disorders (TMDs), orthodontics, dentofacial orthopedics, periodontics, and prosthodontics.

About the programs

Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education offers several residencies and a fellowship in several specialty dental areas. Candidates may apply to only one program at a time.
