About the department

Mayo Clinic dermatologists and dermatopathologists in the Dermatology Department diagnose and treat hundreds of conditions, including many that are rare or complex, for more than 65,000 patients each year. The department includes specialists with expertise in genetics, immunology, melanoma, oral disease, pathology, pediatrics, pharmacology, public health, and surgery. More than 7,000 surgical procedures are done annually by the department, including Mohs micrographic surgery, laser surgery, and cosmetic surgery.

About the programs
