About the Academy
The Academy of Educational Excellence is where all Mayo educators can find valuable resources and mentorship as they strive to further develop their capacity to:
- Teach and assess learners
- Develop innovative models of biomedical education
- Excel in educational leadership roles
- Conduct research and disseminate educational scholarship
In partnership with the Office of Applied Scholarship and Education Science (OASES), we are committed to providing high quality faculty development resources through the Resources for Educators searchable catalog.

It is my honor to introduce to you the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science Academy of Educational Excellence, an interprofessional, enterprise forum for Mayo Clinic educators.
If you are looking to join a diverse community of educators who are interested in sharing innovative teaching practices, challenging each other to improve the educational environment and learner experience, and advancing our educational research mission at Mayo Clinic, I encourage you to join us through three simple steps:

Mission and vision
The Academy of Educational Excellence is a collaborative, interprofessional learning community dedicated to inspire, support, recognize, and disseminate the exceptional and innovative work done by educators across the Mayo Clinic Enterprise.
Objectives
- Build capacity of educators to teach and assess learners, develop innovative models of biomedical education, excel in educational leadership role, and conduct research and disseminate educational scholarship
- Foster a collaborative community of educators
- Recognize the value and accomplishments of Mayo Clinic educators
- Offer and coordinate a rich mosaic of faculty development resources across schools to improve education and advance educational stewardship

The first time you attempt to access the dashboard, you will need to submit an access request through Tableau, which will grant you lifetime access to the dashboard (as long as you are logged in to the Mayo Clinic network).
