In order to obtain a driver’s license, you will need to go to your local driver’s license bureau, often referred to as a Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) or Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), and present the following immigration-related documents:

• Passport
• I-94
• Official Immigration Document or Receipt, such as I-797, Form DS-2019, or Form I-20
