About the department
The Department of Clinical Genomics includes board-certified medical geneticists and certified genetic counselors. The department works with Mayo Clinic's Center for Individualized Medicine, has several unique specialty clinics staffed by genetics experts, and collaborates with the Division of Laboratory Genetics, which has biochemical genetics, molecular genetics, and cytogenetics laboratories.
About the programs
Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education offers a residency and fellowships in genetics and genomics. Candidates may apply to only one program at a time.
