The Department of Dermatology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona offers a full range of dermatologic care for both common and rare problems of the skin. Students will gain experience in the evaluation and management of dermatologic disease in an outpatient setting.
This longitudinal virtual selective provides the fundamentals for the diagnosis and management of skin, hair, nail and mucosal disorders. The lectures are carefully crafted to address practice gaps, learning objectives, and evidence-based management with references for further study.
The Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Selective is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the field of radiology and develop an understanding of its role in patient care.
Students rotate through multiple sections of the Department of Radiology, including chest, musculoskeletal, breast imaging, GI, body CT, ultrasound, MR, neuroradiology, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine.
Explore diagnostic radiology through active learning by reviewing and studying introductory imaging textbooks. Opportunities to shadow residents, fellows and attendings as cases are reviewed and discussed in the radiology reading rooms.
