Through the course, you will receive a comprehensive review of therapeutic relationship building, learn treatment planning and a team-based approach to integrative health care, and how to navigate and document medical records.
Learners complete course content using Blackboard, an online learning management system. The in-depth discussions, hands-on training, and interactive sessions are geared to increase knowledge, performance, and patient outcomes. In turn, this course allows participants to experience self-exploration. After completing the coursework, learners participate in an experiential learning opportunity through a 25-hour internship component interacting directly with patients at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
