Photography
Every trainee is required to have a portrait taken for the online directory and your Mayo Clinic identification badge/access card.
Business formal attire must be worn for orientation and your portrait. Suit or sport coat, skirt or dress pants, button-down/up collared shirt and tie, dress, blouse or sweater. Casual clothing or fabric, such as denim is not permitted.
Portrait photography will take place at all three in person orientation sessions. If you prefer to take your photo on your own or are starting outside of orientation, utilize one of the following options to have your portrait taken.
Mayo Clinic Hospital-Rochester Methodist Campus (downtown) portrait studio
- Located in the Mayo Building, Floor Mezzanine-82E (one floor above the lobby)
- Open Mondays from 8 a.m.-to 12 p.m.
- First come, first served
- Open Mondays from 8 a.m.-to 12 p.m.
Self-Service Photo Booths

- Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Mary's Campus, Francis building, Ground Level Auxiliary Vending Area
- Available 24/7
- Must have your 8-Digit Person ID (email your GME specialist for this information)
